The Ada Public Library will be undergoing a software migration that will span the months of May and June. The library wants its patrons to be prepared as it gear up for some changes. The library has prepared a video to assist in explaining the changes underway.

Beginning Thursday, May 31​, a library card will be required to check out materials. This is a requirement as the library's software is updated.

After May 31​, patrons and library staff will not be able to place holds on library items. This is a temporary situation while the library's software is being updated. 

During the week of ​June 4, checkout operations may be slower than usual. The library staff appreciates patrons' patience as the staff strives to provide the best customer service possible during this change.
