Bulldog boys sting Hornets
Playing at home, the Ada boys soccer team defeated local rival Cory-Rawson 4-1 in North Central Ohio Soccer Association action on a cool, rainy Wednesday, September 22, at War Memorial Stadium.
The Bulldogs improved to 3-4-3 overall and 1-2 in NCOSA action with the decisive win. The Hornets fell to 6-3-1 and 0-3 in NCOSA play after the defeat.
Junior Carter Conley and freshman Logan Jolliff each netted two goals to pace Ada.
Abdellah Al-Olimat passed out a pair of assists.
Sophomore keeper Colton Long was credited with two saves in goal.
Ada (0-1-1 NWC) hosts six-time defending league champion Bluffton (7-2, 2-0 NWC) Tuesday, Sept. 28. The Pirates have won 32 NWC matches in a row after blanking Allen East 5-0 Monday.
