William H. "Bill" Huff, 1941 - 2013
William H. "Bill" Huff, age 71, died Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 6:00 AM at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born on October 7, 1941 in Sycamore, Ohio to Harvey and Edith Jane (Cozad) Huff and they preceded him in death. He married Dorothy S. Burris on November 21, 1992 and she survives in Alger.
Bill retired after 34 years from the Lima Correctional Institute, Lima where he worked as a captain.
Also surviving are three sons: Charles (Viola) Huff of Ada, Billy Huff of Ottawa and Randy Burris of Alger; three daughters: Jackie (Tim) Deters of Ottawa, Marlo (Brad) Heffner of Westminster and Nikki Parker of Alger; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Mason Heffner.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 23, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger and until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society and/or Alzheimer's Association and/or St. Rita's Hospice.
