The Village of Ada has issued the following information on 2021 leaf pick-up scheduling and instructions.

The Village is divided into the four pick-up areas as listed below. See Attached map.

Each section will have leaves picked up on a specific date. Dates are subject to change due to weather or emergencies. 

Northwest-District A

Monday Pickup on Oct. 25, Nov. 1, 8, 15, 29. 

Northeast-District B

Tuesday Pickup on Oct. 26, Nov, 2, 9, 16, 30.

Southeast -District C 

Wednesday Pickup on Oct. 27, Nov. 3, 10, 17, Dec. 1 

Southwest-District D

Thursday Pickup on Oct. 28, Nov. 4, 11, 18,, Dec. 2

NOTE: There will be no scheduled leaf pickup on Nov. 22,, 23, 24, 25 and 26. 

HOW TO PREPARE FOR LEAF PICKUP

1. All leaves must be raked into the tree lawn area; please do not rake leaves into the street.

2. Rake leaves into open areas; avoid putting them around trees, street sign posts, utility poles or guy wires.

3. Leaves must be in the tree lawn area the day before the scheduled pickup date. 

4. Tree branches and woody debris are not permitted in the piles. If leaf piles contain these items, the piles will not be picked up and it will be the resident's responsibility to remove the leaves and debris from the tree lawn area promptly. 

5. If leaf pickup is needed after the last scheduled date in your section, you must bag the leaves and call the Village Office to schedule pick up. 

STREET PARKING 

1. Vehicles must be moved from street parking. 

2. No parking is permitted on any street within the pickup area on the pickup date. 

3. If any vehicles block leaf piles, the piles will not be picked up. 

REFUSE/RECYCLING TOTES

1. In order to allow plenty of room for leaf pickup equipment, please remove garbage and recycling totes from the tree lawn immediately after refuse pickup.
