Marilyn Creps, 1932 - 2013
Marilyn A. Creps, age 80, died on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 10:17 am at Lima Memorial Health System, Lima.
She was born on June 16, 1932 in Findlay, Ohio to Carl D. and Evelyn (Clapper) Gallant, they preceded her in death. On September 4, 1954 she married Gene E. Creps and he preceded her in death on August 14, 2002.
Marilyn retired after working for approximately 50 years at the Bluffton Hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She later worked for the Allen County Sheriff's Jail. She was a member of the Riley Creek Baptist Church, Bluffton.
Surviving are a son, David Gene Creps of Bellefontaine; a daughter, Tamela (Ronald) Freshcorn of Kenton; four grandchildren: Nathan Freshcorn, Derrick Freshcorn, Andrew Freshcorn and Nicole Freshcorn all of Kenton; two sisters: Carol (Gilbert) Williamson of Urbana, IL. and Sharon Hartley of Findlay; sister-in-law, Marjorie Creps of Lima.
She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Shelly Jean Gallant.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m.on Friday, May 24, at Riley Creek Baptist Church, Bluffton with Pastor David Lanquist officiating. Burial will be in Hasson Cemetery, Jenera.
Friends may call 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Transportation Ministry at the Faith Baptist Church of Kenton and/or the Charity of the Donor's Choice.
