Letter to the Icon: Sean Beck
I am humbled and honored to have been elected as one of Ada’s next Village Councilors. Having the support of the village that I’ve called “home” for almost a decade means the world to me. I will do my best for all the wonderful people who live, work, and play in Ada. I fully intend to keep the promises that were laid out during my campaign. Ensuring that government activities are accessible, transparent, and engaging is incredibly important to me, and the people of Ada.
I want to first take a moment to thank my amazing wife, Samantha. Her support over the past year of planning, meetings, phone calls, and everything else a campaign does has been nothing short of incredible. Without her support, I wouldn’t have even run for office. She is my rock, and I am so thankful to have her as my partner in life.
I also want to thank the team that has helped me to achieve this incredible honor. From the start, I’ve had the absolute best team supporting me. My team helped to hone my ideas and message from vague generalizations to actionable plans. Everyone played an important role, and I appreciate you all so much. I could not have done this without you.
Lastly, I’d like to thank the voters of Ada. I will strive every day to maintain your trust. My job in Council is to represent ALL of Ada, and that is exactly what I intend to do. I won’t let you down.
Keep an eye out for further updates as the transition to Office comes closer. I plan on being active on social media while in office in order to keep the flow of information going as much as I’m able to.
Let’s get to work!
Sean Beck
Councilor-elect
