Soccer referee training opportunities
The Ada Soccer Association reminds its supporters that this is a good time to consider soccer referee training. There are new grassroots soccer referee courses for this region.
Who can be a referee? Candidates must be at least 13 years of age. Parents should assess the maturity of their child prior to signing up for the course.
The U.S. Soccer Grassroots Referee (GR) course has four requirements that are completed online and a one-day in person clinic.
Referee candidates over the age of eighteen will be required to complete a criminal background check conducted by NCSI and US Safe Sport training. For more information, visit the ohnrefs.org Becoming a Referee page.
