W. Thomas Crowe was a farmer
W. Thomas Crowe, age 81, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, January 16, 2022, after a courageous battle with brain cancer.
He was born on February 25, 1940, in Lima, Ohio to the late William Daniel and Ruth (Thomas) Crowe. On March 12, 1960, Tom married Sharon Sue Moore and she survives in Lima.
Tom was a farmer and a United Methodist Agricultural Missionary to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Alger. Tom was a former member of the USV School Board.
Also surviving is a son, William Daniel (Kim) Crowe, II of Lima; two daughters: Susan (Allen) Knight of North Ridgeville and Sara (Pat) Kelliher of Westerville; and nine grandchildren: William Daniel (Sierra) Crowe, III, Ashley Crowe, Emma Crowe, Morgan Crowe, Taylor Knight, Leland Knight, Megan Knight, Thomas Kelliher, and Andrew Kelliher; and one great granddaughter, Lyla Crowe; and a sister, Ann (Edward) Hart of Yorba Linda, CA.
A celebration of life will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 24, 2022, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with Pastor Don Clinger officiating. Burial of Ashes will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger at later date.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 24 at the funeral home in Ada.
