History of Hardin County in photos, exhibit and event
From 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, The Hardin County Historical Museums, 223 N. Main St. Kenton will celebrate the opening of a new exhibit, Pictures of the Past: A History of Hardin County in Photographs.
The event will include special guest Tim Carrig, who will display vintage cameras and talk about photography. Admission is free.
The museum is closed for inventory and to prepare new exhibits from January 3-April 3. Upon reopening, museum hours are Tuesday-Thursday, 1:00-4:00 p.m. For more information, visit https://www.hardinmuseums.org/
The Hardin County Historical Museums describes its mission: “to collect and preserve the history of Hardin County, Ohio and its people. Through our wide and varied collection we share the importance of preserving our history so that future generations are able to gain an understanding of where we have been and to think critically about how these events shape our future.”
