Hager Lafferty worked for General Dynamics
Hager Lafferty, age 79, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022, at 4:10 a.m. at Burton’s Ridge, Lima.
He was born on August 24, 1942, in Langley, Kentucky to the late Edgar and Christine (Reffitt) Lafferty. On October 27, 1961, Hager married Virgie R. Howard and she preceded him in death on August 2, 2004.
Hager is survived by his two children: Gene (Suzanne) Lafferty of Belle Center and Debbie (Mark) Mosher of LaFayette; a grandchild, Taylor Lafferty; and a sister, Bonnie Whitaker of Alger.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Harless Lafferty and sister, Barb Morrison.
Hager retired from General Dynamics, Lima. He was a longtime volunteer at Lima Memorial Health System. Hager was a member of the Lima Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #370. He was a former president of the Alger Veteran’s Memorial. The family would like to thank Legacy Hospice and the nurses at Burton’s Ridge for their care and compassion.
Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alger Veteran Memorial, P.O. Box 366, Alger, Ohio 45812.
