The visiting Ada High School tennis team lost 4-1 to Lima Central Catholic in their season-opening dual match on Wednesday evening, March 30.
The Bulldog win was recorded at second doubles by newcomers Riley Ferguson and Nate Williams in straight sets 6-1, 6-1.
"As a whole, it was good to get our first match under our belt," said new Ada coach Tyler Christoff. "For some, that was their first match.
"We are hitting the ground running at practice, hoping to get on the right track," he added.
Ada (0-1) is scheduled to host Fostoria Wednesday, April 6 in the home season opener on the park courts at 4:30 p.m.
