Ada Fish Farm will host Pond Clinic
Area residents are invited to a Pond Clinic at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Neil and Amy Dumbaugh’s pond, located at 1547 CR 50, Ada, Ohio. The clinic for pond owners and those thinking about creating a pond is sponsored by the Hardin Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) and OSU Extension, Hardin County.
This is an opportunity to ask questions about pond management and get expert answers.
Steve Fender, author of “Farm Pond Management, The Common Sense Guide” and owner of Fender’s Fish Farms in Baltic, Ohio will discuss pond management and pond fish stocking.
The event will include a tour of Ada Fish Farms, LLC, owned by Neil Dumbaugh, who recommends stocking Tilapia fish.
The program will be held outside. Partcipants should bring lawn chairs and dress for the weather. Light refreshments will be provided by the Hardin SWCD.
