Ada High School baseball special awards

The Ada High School varsity baseball team recently handed out its 2022 post-season awards.
The special award winners are:
Captain's award - Kadin Phipps and Tyler Jameson
Pitcher of the Year - Kadin Phipps
Offensive Player of the Year - Roman Snyder
Rookie of the Year - Levi Green
Bulldog award - Tyler Jameson
"The 2022 season was a season of big ups and downs," said veteran Ada head coach Jason Campbell. "This was a young team, and we learned how to compete.
"We won some close games and we lost some close games. But through it all we grew and developed. Most seasons the award winners jump out, and it is easy for me to make these decisions
"This season, we had lots of competition for Offensive Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year," he continued. "With all of those players returning next season, it builds towards a very exciting 2023.
"Next season will be a very senior-heavy team with six seniors that includes a strong four-man pitching staff, and a solid defense up the middle," offered the coach. "All of the underclassmen will have a year of varsity experience under their belts.
"The 2023 team has the talent to win three or four Northwest Conference games and finish at or around .500," he predicted.
Ada finished 6-14 overall and 1-7 in the NWC this spring.
