Cheerleading competition at Hardin County Fair / Register by Aug. 1
The Hardin County Agricultural Society is hosting a cheerleading competition at the Hardin County Fair at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 11, 2022.
The competition is for school squads, recreation squads, local gyms, USASF teams, and individuals/duos. The competition will have tumbling & non-tumbling and stunting & non-stunting divisions in the following categories:
- COMPETITION (3 minute limit);
- GAME DAY (3 minute limit) **Incorporates Fight Song, Crowd-Leading and Band Chant w/transitions;
- FIGHT SONG ONLY (1 minute limit); CROWD LEADING ONLY (1 minute limit);
- BAND CHANT ONLY (1 minute limit); INDIVIDUAL (1:30 minute limit);
- DUO (1:30 minute limit). Squads may compete in more than one category.
The top three teams in each category will be given a trophy. The highest scoring team for the day in each age division (regardless of category) will be named Grand Champions and receive a trophy and $50.
There will also be a Jump-off, Tumble-pff, and Tuck-off for $5 per competitor per category and registration for these events will take place the day of the competition.
Competition will take place on the track of the grandstand on a 52’X42’ cheer mat. Practice mats will be available and each team will receive a scheduled time.
AGE DIVISIONS (2022-2023 Grades)
- Tiny- 2nd grade and under;
- Mini- 4th grade and under;
- Youth- 6th grade and under;
- Middle School- 8th grade and under;
- JV/Freshmen 9th-11th grade;
- Small Varsity- Less than 10 squad members the mat - 9th-12th grade; and
- Large Varsity- 11 or more squad members on the mat - 9th-12th grade.

Individual, Team, and Squad Registration Forms must be postmarked by August 1,2022. All entry fees and squad rosters must be prepaid and sent with registration forms.
Entry fees are non-refundable. Registered squad members and 2 named coaches per team will receive entrance into the Hardin County Fair.
