Summer reading kick-off big success and ready to get reptilian
By Amanda Bennett
They say it takes a village! The Ada Library had a great turnout for their Summer Reading Kick-Off on Saturday; in just 4 hours we had over 250 people stop by our Summer Kick-Off, and 195 people (Birth-Adult) sign-up for Summer Reading!
This is the first year we're including people of all ages and we were overwhelmed by the response and excitement of our patrons! Sign-up continues all throughout the program.
While there are events everyday Monday-Friday at the Library, some really exciting events on our near horizon are:
- PT Reptiles, held at Ada Visiting Nurses, Monday, June 10 at 11 a.m., an educational program with reptiles, amphibians, arachnids and more!
- Mars .Rover (with a Neil Armstrong Museum representative) Family Program,Thursday, June 13, 6 p.m.
- Big Foot in Ohio, Thursday, June 20, 6 p.m.
