Bulldog girls drop NWC opener at Vikings

LEIPSIC⎯The Ada High School volleyball team lost in three sets at Leipsic in the Northwest Conference opener Wednesday evening, September 7.
The 25-12, 25-17, 25-17 loss dropped the Ada season record to 5-3 overall and 0-1 in the NWC. Leipsic improved to 6-1 and 1-0 in the NWC with the win.
- Sophomore Lily Baumgartner hit a team-high four kills
- Senior Emilee Huffer knocked down three kills
- Senior Courtney Sumner mustered nine digs
- Junior setter Autumn Andreasen passed out 10 assists and came up with eight digs
- Junior Daicy Robinson knocked down two kills and came up with four blocks
- Sophomore Tessa Griffith hit two kills and dealt a pair of aces
- Sophomore Jenna Bassitt served two aces
The Bulldog reserves lost in two games to fall to 5-2. The Ada freshmen also fell in straight sets.
Ada hosts former league foe Lima Central Catholic on Thursday, September 8.
