Quarry Farm to host Great Backyard Bird Count hike on Feb. 18
PANDORA—Join birders at The Quarry Farm Nature Preserve & Conservation Farm on Saturday, February 18 for a 9:00 a.m. hike in celebration of the world-wide Great Backyard Bird Count.
Organizers explain, "We will record the species that we spot in the nature preserve and the complete list will be submitted to ebird.org to help set a new record for birding. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable, sturdy walking shoes. Admission is free but donations are appreciated."
The Quarry Farm Nature Preserve & Conservation Farm is located 1/8 mile north of 14321 Road 7L. For more information, visit www.thequarryfarm.org/
