Bulldog volleyball bests Hornets

RAWSON--The visiting Ada High School varsity volleyball team defeated local foe Cory-Rawson Saturday morning in three sets.
The Lady Bulldogs improved to 4-1 after the convincing 25-17, 25-14, 25-10 non-league win.
Ada senior setter Autumn Andreasen passed out 25 assists. She also came up with 13 digs and hit for a team-high eight kills, while making one block.
Senior southpaw hitter Mariah King knocked down seven kills.
Senior Daicy Robinson compiled seven kills and one block. Junior Tess Griffith hammered five kills, hustled up 20 digs and served a pair of aces.
Junior libero Jenna Bassitt mustered up 26 digs.
Freshman Dailah Preston hit for six kills.
Senior defensive specialist Josie Phillips came up with 14 digs and two aces. Sophomore middle Anna Conley came up with one block.
The Bulldog junior varsity also swept C-R, 2-0.
Ada visits Perry Tuesday, August 29. The Bulldogs host Arlington and Hardin Northern Saturday, September 2.
