Jerry K. Houx worked for Laborers Local #329
Jerry K. Houx, age 78, of Lima, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at 8:08 p.m. at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
He was born on October 3, 1944 in Alger, Ohio to the late Lester and Effie (Gossard) Houx, Sr.
Jerry worked for the Laborers Local #329.
He is survived by his three children: Donald (Monica) Houx of Delphos, Lorraine (Carl) Argetsinger of East Jordan, MI and Jerri Houx of Lima; nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren; and two sisters: Patsy (Earl) Hale of Lima and Judith (Virgil) Marinelli of Las Vegas, NV.
Jerry was preceded in death by a brother, Lester Houx, Jr. and sister, Gloria Haney.
Funeral services will begin 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger with Pastor Don Clinger officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday, September 2 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger.
