Ada Village Office closed July 4 and July 5
The Village Voice
Independence Day “It (July 2nd) ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more.” - John Adams, 1776
While John Adams thought Americans would be celebrating their independence on July 2, the day the resolution for independence was approved by Congress, the sentiment has remained the same.
To celebrate this national holiday, the Village Offices will be closed July 4 and 5. The offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Monday, July 8.
Credit card payments may still be made via the Village website, www.adaoh.org, and check payments may be placed in the secure drop box located on the east side of the Depot Railroad Park.
If you have an emergency, you may contact the Ada Police Department at 419-634-0010. If Village employees are called out, you may be charged a call out fee by the Village office, depending on the reason for the call out.
We wish you a happy and safe Independence Day!
