Ada Distinguished Awards (ADA) Night to honor Ada standouts for 2023

Nominations for Distinguished Citizen and Business of the Year are due by January 29.
In partnership with the Town & Gown Committee, the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce will host the 1st Annual Ada Distinguished Awards (ADA) Night on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Liberty Oaks, 0395 St, OH-235, Ada.
The event will include presentations honoring Ada’s Distinguished Citizen, Outstanding Business, and Volunteer of the Year for 2023. The evening will provide an opportunity for guests to mingle and network while enjoying heavy hors d'oeuvres and live music.
Ada Area Chamber members Nectar & Brie, Midwest BBQ and Circle U Waffle Co. will be providing catering for ADA Night. Entertainment will provided by Play it Blue-Dean Altstaetter.
The Town & Gown committee is seeking nominations for the 2023 Distinguished Citizen of the Year award. The application form is HERE.

This individual is described as someone who "goes above and beyond what is required in the areas of accomplishments and civic involvement. Nominees have improved the quality of the Ada community and have made strides to make Ada and ONU a place of pride. The nominee may be a community leader or even a 'silent server' in the community who often will forgo personal recognition in the interest of making a difference." The deadline for this nomination is January 29, 2024.
The Ada Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for the 2023 Outstanding Business/Industry Award. The nomination form is HERE; it states that "The award winner shall be determined by the contributions that the business/industry and its owners/managers and employees have made to the Ada area community." Nominations for this award are also due by January 29.
