Wannetta Kathryn “Kathy” Guyton was a bus driver for Upper Scioto Valley Schools
Wannetta Kathryn “Kathy” Guyton, age 66, of Ada, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at her residence.
Kathy was born on May 30, 1957, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Robert and Thelma (Sturgell) Thompson. On November 5, 1977, Kathy married Martin R. “Marty” Guyton, Sr. and he survives in Ada.
Also surviving are her two children: Martin “Marty” Guyton, Jr. of Lima and Amanda “Mandy” (Jason) Fifer of Van Wert; a granddaughter, Ruby; a brother, Larry (Joyce) Thompson of Shawnee; and a sister-in-law, Melody Guyton of Ada.
She was preceded in death by Patricia “Patti” Stidham.
Kathy was a bus driver for Upper Scioto Valley Schools. She previously drove semi with her husband, Marty for many years. Kathy also had an upholstery shop in Kenton. She previously attended the Meadowbrook Baptist Church, Shawnee.
Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum, Lima.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 4 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Association, 375 Kings Highway North, Suite B, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
