Student Leadership-United graduation, May 8
The final meeting of Student Leadership-United will be a Graduation and Award Allocation Ceremony at 10:00 a.m. on May 8 at Mid-Ohio Energy.
This group of 24 select Sophomores have met monthly to develop their leadership skills and to learn more about charitable organizations within Hardin County. The students will be awarding 17 individuals grant money to help support educational programming at their schools.
“It’s been a great program; I have enjoyed meeting students from other schools and participating in all the activities. We were able to help fund a summer reading program and provide a mobile white board for a math teacher” said Alyssa Nau, Ada High School Sophomore.
This leadership group has been funded by Quest FCU, Precision Strip, Hardin Leadership, Mid-Ohio Energy and Middlefield Bank. The group is led by members of the 2024 Hardin Leadership class and is a partnership with the United Way of Hardin County.
