Kash Allen was a U.S. Army veteran
Kash Allen, age 90, of Alger, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024 at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born on October 23, 1933, in Magoffin County, Kentucky to Jimmy and Eva (Wireman) Allen. His father, Jimmy and his mother, Eva Bradley and stepfather, Luther Bradley preceded him in death. On May 28, 1964 Kash married Patricia Thompson, she preceded him in death on March 7, 2019.
Kash is survived by his two daughters: Debbie (Ronald) Frazier of Ada and Julia (Steve) McClure of Alger; eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren; and brother, Joe Allen of North Carolina; a special nephew, Paul Myers.
He was preceded in death by his four sons: David Allen, Joseph Lowry, George Lowry and Stephen Allen; grandson, Matthew Lowry; and a sister, Mary Myers.
Kash was owner and operator of Allen’s Bar and Grill in Alger for forty years. He also worked at Sheller Globe and then worked in heating and air conditioning. Kash was a U.S. Army veteran, stationed at West Point. In his younger years Kash enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and softball.
It was his wish to be cremated. A graveside service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Preston Cemetery, Alger with David Holbrook officiating.
