Obituary for Carolyn Mae Treglia
Carolyn Mae Treglia, age 93, of Ada formerly of LaFayette, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Vancrest of Ada.
She was born on May 11, 1931 in Lima, Ohio to the late Harry and Nora (Fisher) Hefner. On June 17, 1949 Carolyn married Tony J. Treglia and he survives in Ada. They were married for over seventy-four years.
Carolyn was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, LaFayette.
Also surviving are two sons: Thomas (Darla) Treglia of LaFayette and Matthew Treglia of Ada; four daughters: Cathy (Dennis) Watt, Jeanne Ogle, Jenelle (Darrell) Hensley and Tracey (Michael) Snyder all of LaFayette; eleven grandchildren, one step grandchild; twelve great grandchildren and one step great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Dr. James Ogle; a grandson, Jeremiah Treglia; two brothers: Perry and David Hefner; and three sisters: Ethel McElwaine, Genevieve Davis and Nellie Hefner.
A memorial service will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2024 at the Zion Lutheran Church, 101 East Main Street, LaFayette, Ohio 45854 with Pastor Ryan Cordle officiating. Burial of Ashes will be in LaFayette Cemetery at a later date.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Friday, May 31st from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, LaFayette.
