Jere A. “Otie” Anspach served in the Vietnam War
Jere A. “Otie” Anspach, age 74, of Ada, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Lima Memorial Health System, Lima, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Lima, Ohio on July 14, 1949, to the late Otis and Opal (Ream) Anspach. On October 13, 1984, Otie married Kym A. Long and she survives in Ada.
Also surviving are a daughter: Stefanie (Keith) Ketcham of Harrod; two grandchildren: Casey (Dylan) and Cole; and a brother: Daniel (Galina) Anspach of Myrtle Beach, SC.
He was preceded in death by a infant son, William Anspach.
Otie retired as a machinist from Rockwell Int. of Kenton. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and served in the Vietnam War. Otie was a cowboy and loved the west.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at James’ Farms, 1777 County Road 65, Ada, OH 45810.
