Jumbo Jr. Farmers 4-H report for July 2024
The sixth meeting of the Jumbo Jr. Farmers was held on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. There were 18 members present, 3 advisors, and 10 parents or guests in attendance. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Lindsey Winings and the 4-H Pledge was led by Braylin Kabua.
In old business, we discussed the club 4-H Camp scholarship in which each club member got $50.00 if they are going to 4-H Camp. We also Discussed Life-Skill judging and reminded people to sign up through the Hardin County Extension App.
In new business, we talked about livestock judging, how it is August 10th from 10-4 and that sign ups were open. We discussed attendance and how we need more people to show up to the meetings.
The next meeting will be at the McDonald Township hall on July 29 at 6:30 p.m. when we are painting the tops of the piers at the cemetery. Refreshments will be provided by Laughtenslaugers (snacks) and Shepherds (drinks). Braylin Kabua is presenting at the next meeting.
The meeting was adjourned with a motion from Jeffery Bushong followed by a second by Kane Ketcham.
