ONU football picked seventh in 2024 OAC Coaches Poll
ONU opens the 2024 season on Sept. 7 against Franklin (Ind.) at 1:30 p.m. at Dial-Roberson Stadium under first-year head coach Andy Fries.

The Ohio Northern football team was picked to finish seventh in the league in the 2024 Ohio Athletic Conference Coaches Poll.
Northern garnered 35 points in the poll.
Mount Union was selected as the favorite in the OAC for 2024, receiving 80 points and eight first-place votes.
John Carroll was picked to finish second with 74 points and the two remaining first place votes.
Marietta was picked to finish third with 63 points, Baldwin Wallace was picked fourth with 59 points, Heidelberg was picked fifth with 47 points and Muskingum was picked to finish sixth with 41 points.
Coaches do not vote on their own teams in the balloting.
The Polar Bears finished the 2023 season with a 4-6 record and were sixth in the OAC with a 4-5 conference mark.
