Carl Puckett worked for Ford Motor Company
Carl Puckett, age 95, of Ada, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024 at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born on July 16, 1929 in Floyd County, Kentucky to the late Tom E. and Stella J. (Wright) Puckett. On September 11, 1948 Carl married Melba Ousley and she passed away on April 28, 2020.
Carl retired from Ford Motor Company of Lima. He attended the Lonesome Valley United Baptist Church.
Surviving are his two daughters: Barbara (Ronald) Murray of St. Marys and Brenda (Robert) Zimmerman of Ada; eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Betty L. Bolen of Kenton.
He was preceded in death by a son, Donald R. Puckett; and a sister, Beatrice Bolen.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with Elder Gregus Smith officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday.
