The Ada Icon has noted that the Ada Kiwanis is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2024. Need proof? How about this 1924 article from The Ada Record.

Headlined "PROFS GO DOWN BEFORE KIWANIS, First Diamond Struggle Results in Victory for the Weekly Lunchers," the article details a three game benefit series. Described as "perhaps the most enjoable of any so far witnesed between local teams," the Kiwanis beat the Profs, 7-3.
