Tony Treglia worked for Superior Coach Sheller Globe
Tony Joseph Treglia, age 93, of Lima, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Vancrest of Ada, surrounded by his family.
He was born on July 15, 1931 in Lima, Ohio to the late Filipo and Maria (Salterelli) Treglia. On June 17, 1949 Tony married Carolyn M. Hefner, she preceded him in death on May 23, 2024.
Tony retired from Superior Coach Sheller Globe of Lima and was a farmer. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, LaFayette. Tony was a former School Board member for the Allen East Schools.
Surviving are two sons: Thomas (Darla) Treglia of LaFayette and Matthew Treglia of Ada; four daughters: Cathy (Dennis) Watt, Jeanne (Steve) Maki, Jenelle (Darrell) Hensley and Tracey (Michael) Snyder all of LaFayette; eleven grandchildren, one step grandchild; twelve great grandchildren and one step great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Dr. James Ogle; a grandson, Jeremiah Treglia; and three brothers: Benedict, Frank and A.P. “Mick” Treglia.
Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the Zion Lutheran Church, 101 East Main Street, LaFayette, Ohio 45854 with Pastor Ryan Cordle officiating. Burial will be in LaFayette Cemetery, LaFayette.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8 at the Zion Lutheran Church, LaFayette.
