Hardin County goat banquet set for April 5
HARDIN COUNTY__The sixth annual Hardin County Goat Banquet will be held on Saturday, April 5 at the Kenton Moose Lodge. The doors will open at 4:30 p.m. and the banquet will begin at 5:00 p.m. There is no charge to attend the banquet.
Reservations need to be made by calling the OSU Extension office at419-674-2297 by March 31.
The menu will be potluck style. The main course and drink will be provided but guests are asked to bring a side dish or dessert to share.
The purpose of the Hardin County Goat Banquet is to recognize the pork industry, including the youth and adults who work with goats in the county. Royalty will be crowned and door prizes handed out as well during the banquet.
Scholarship and royalty applications are available online at www.go.osu.edu/25scholarshipsandroyalty with applications due March 14.
