Michael Bolen served in the U.S. Army
Michael Bolen, age 66, of McGuffey Ohio, passed away on Good Friday, March 29, 2024.
He was born on April 18, 1957 in Wayne Michigan to Norman Ray and Coletta (Spencer) Bolen. His Father Norman “Ray” proceeded him in death and his mother Coletta “Katie” survives in Alger.
Also surviving are his four children: Jessica (James) Anderson of Granville, Johnny Bolen of Celina, Dustin Bolen of McGuffey and Ashley Bolen of Lima; eight grandchildren; and two brothers who were his best friends, Charles (Mary) Bolen and Barry (Susanne) Bolen.
Michael was loved by many and touched several lives. Michael worked for Superior Coaches/Accubuilt and was also a proud U.S Army Veteran.
Michael was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeye fan. Whenever his garage door was up--you knew to come inside and visit or sit under his shade tree and share a laugh, perhaps grab some fresh tomatoes from the garden also.
The family extends their deepest appreciation and respect to everyone who has reached out and offered kind words. For everyone who offered their resources, time and effort--you are not forgotten. The family appreciates all of you.
A celebration of life will be held privately at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
