BLOOMDALE – The Ada High School track and field teams competed well in a triangular meet at Elmwood with Arlington on Tuesday, April 29.

The Bulldog boys and girls teams each finished second at the three-team meet. 

The Elmwood girls finished first with 84.5 points, followed by the Bulldogs (45) and Arlington (31.5).

The Red Devils won the boys tri-meet with 63 points, edging the Bulldog boys (57) by six points.  Elmwood scored 44 points to finish third in the closely-bunched boys meet.

Ada senior speed merchant Logan Jolliff won the 100-meter and 200-meter dash races to pace the Bulldog boys.

The Ada girls 4 x 200 relay quartet captured first place.

Bulldog junior Jordyn Smith took second in the girls 400 meters and long jump.

Ada is slated to compete in the USV Invitational Thursday, May 1. The Hardin County Invitational is May 6 at Riverdale.

The Bulldogs host the annual Ada Invitational May 10.
