Rhonda Moore worked for Hardin Hills Nursing Home
Rhonda Moore, age 75, of Harrod, passed away peacefully at Vancrest of Ada on Saturday, June 7, 2025.
She was born on December 19, 1949 in Jackson, Kentucky to the late George and Nancy (Watkins) Manns. On September 27, 1966 Rhonda married Denver Moore and they were married for 59 years. He preceded her in death on June 22, 2019.
Rhonda is survived by her sister, Rosalie (Mac) Brown of Waynesfield; several nieces and nephews: and special niece and nephew: Sandy (Larry) Conley of Waynesfield and Randy (Shelly) Brown of Cridersville.
She was preceded in death by her four brothers: Clyde Manns, Okie Manns, Sam Manns and Bert Manns; sister, Junie Shepherd; four bonus brothers: Acie Manns, Ted Manns, Henry Manns and Arnold Ritchie; and two bonus sisters: Dolly Mullins and Susie Stevens.
Rhonda retired from Hardin Hills Nursing Home, Kenton after working for 30 years as an aide and supervisor of the laundry. She was a member of the Holden Missionary Baptist Church. She liked to cook, bake, collect cookbooks, work in her flower beds, taking care of her pets and thrift storing. Rhonda loved her cat “Mr. Riley”.
A graveside service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at McDonald-Fairview Cemetery, Kenton with Glen Gossard officiating.
