Power outages, tree damage follow June 18 storms
Following severe thunderstorms with heavy winds on Wednesday, June 18, the greater Ada area was still dealing with some power outages as of 8:00 a.m. on Thursday. The Village of Ada has removed or moved several downed trees and limbs on roadways.
Public Works will continue cleanup efforts throughout the day, June 19. Ada residents may use the Village green waste site at 514 E. Lincoln Ave. to dispose of branches or place them in a pile near the road.
The Village asks that piles be placed parallel to the road to help crews efficiently and safely remove and chip the limbs.
