Michael E. High was a millwright
Michael E. High, age 70, of Lakeview, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born on July 8, 1954 in Lima, Ohio to the late Nick and Shirley (Thompson) High, Jr.
Mike is survived by his two sons: Jason High and Joshua High, both of Lima; 2 grandchildren; three brothers: Steve (Karen) High of Belle Center, Pat High of Lakeview, and Chris High of Columbus Grove.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Charlie High; and a sister-in-law: Tammie High.
Mike worked as a millwright at High’s Welding. He previously owned 1A Towing in Lima. He was 1972 graduate of Bath High School. Mike enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with David Holbrook officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial contributions be made in Mike’s honor to the McGuffey Church of Christ.
