JULY 15 MEDIA RELEASE__The Ada Rotary Club, in conjunction with the MW Pony Pals Horse Show, is hosting an Ice Cream Social and Shredded Chicken Cook-off on Saturday, July 26.

The event will take place at the Ada War Memorial Park from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the horse arena (dog park entrance).

Rotarian Sheila Coressel notes, "Did you know Ohio is known for shredded chicken sandwiches? Rotarians would like to show off this cool little-known fact.... First place will receive $50 and a plaque; second place will receive $25, and third place will receive $10."

The ice cream is free for all--while supplies last! To taste test the shredded chicken and vote for their five favorites, there is a suggested donation of $5.

Coressel adds, "We hope you stop by to enjoy some sliders and ice cream and learn more about what Rotarians do for the community."
