Celebration of life scheduled for August 31
Charles F. Wolf, age 80, of Ada, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at his residence, surrounded by his family.
He was born on December 7, 1944 in Wauseon, Ohio to Frederick E. and Rachael (Walter) Wolf Sr. He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick, mother, Rachael and stepfather, Randall Matthews. On August 7, 1971 Charles married Ann Wheeler and she survives in Ada.
Also surviving Charles are his two children: Stephanie (Michael Stahl) Madison of Ada and Jared (Allison) Wolf of Beavercreek; seven grandchildren: Anna (Jace) Standley, Aubrey Madison, Ashlyn Madison, Alyssa Madison, Colbin Wolf, Beckett Wolf and Joanna Wolf; a brother, Frederick (Karen) Wolf of Port Charlotte, FL; and sister Melanie (Paul) Alkema of Venice, FL.
He was a graduate of Wauseon High School, Moorehead State University and Bowling Green State University. Charles was an educator at numerous school districts. He loved his Diet Coke, Milk Duds and the Cincinnati Reds. Charles loved his family, especially his grandchildren and faithfully read the Bible.
A celebration of life will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at the First Presbyterian Church, 201 South Main Street, Ada, Ohio 45810 with Rev. Patrick Allen officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Sunday, August 31 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 201 South Main Street, Ada.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Home Health Care and Hospice, 15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay, Ohio 45840.
