Bulldog golfers host tri-match

HARROD_The Ada High School golf team hosted a three-team Blanchard Valley Conference match at the Colonial Golfers Club on Monday, September 8 (location corrected).
Arcadia won the event with a total of 184 strokes, followed by McComb (198) and the Bulldogs (219).
“Not a good day, we had high scores across the board,” said first-year Ada head coach Tod Schmidt. “We have five more competitions left in the season and need to finish strong.”
Ada was led by junior southpaw Brody Rister, who carded a round of 51.
Bulldog freshman Arden Shook posted a 54, while junior Lawson Klingler shot 56.
Senior Sam Crawford and Gavin Guyton each recorded a round of 58.
Ada senior Slade Gossman added a 66.
Redskin Aiden Cline earned match medalist honors in the 18-player field by shooting a 40.
The Bulldogs play with Arcadia and possibly Arlington on the road on Wednesday, Sept. 10.
