The Ada School Music Boosters  recently elected new officers for the upcoming 2013-2014 school year. The new officers are:

Asst. Treasurer: Suzanne Hardesty
Treasurer: Dave Smittle
VP Parent Involvement: Dawn Waugh
VP Communications: Stacy Geedy
SCRIP Cards: Kim Smittle and Jeff Oestreich
Bingo Coordinator: Deb Rall

The next major Booser event is its annual chicken barbecue. It takes place from 4:30-6:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 6, at the first football game. The barbecue takes place in the park.

Tickets are $8 each, available from any member of Ada Varsity Singers or the High School Marching Band, or, by contacting Dave Smittle at 419-230-8147. Proceeds benefit numerous projects for Ada's instrumental and vocal music programs.
