Bulldog volleyball loss vs. Van Buren

VAN BUREN__The visiting Ada High School volleyball team lost a tough four-set battle to Van Buren in a Blanchard Valley Conference match on Wednesday, September 24.
The Bulldog girls dropped to 10-5 overall and 2-5 in the BVC with the 25-19, 25-13, 22-25, 25-14 defeat.
Van Buren improved to 13-3 overall and 4-2 in BVC play after the four-set win.
Junior Brooklynn Andreasen led Ada with 13 kills. She also served four aces and came up with two blocks.
Freshman Téa Griffith knocked down seven kills and dished out 12 assists.
Junior Dailah Preston drilled five kills and made two blocks. Senior Anna Conley drilled four kills.
Junior Alivia Gibson hit three kills and hustled up 10 digs. Junior Jaylin St. Laurent passed out 15 assists and dealt a pair of aces.
Senior libero Alyssa Madison mustered up 17 digs.
VB also beat the Ada junior varsity, 2-0.
Ada plays in the annual eight-team Cory-Rawson Invitational on Saturday.
