Ada Icon invites Ada HS and junior high students to consider an Icon internship
The Ada Icon has openings for Ada High School and junior high interns this school year, according to Fred Steiner, Icon owner.
The Icon seeks students with a variety of interests for these non-paid positions that offer lots of experience. Students interested in writing, photography and who have knowledge of social media are encouraged to contact Steiner.
Several intern positions are available. For example, students with an interest in movies or music are invited to write movie and music reviews. These writing projects allow students to write opinions using pen names.
Students interested in covering any of the AHS fall sports are also encouraged to contact Steiner. Also, students with photography experience are invited to submit athletic game photos. The Icon also is interested in students who take nature photos.
The Icon also seeks students interested in writing profiles of AHS and junior high students. These are similar to the “15 minute” features posted regularly on The Icon.
The Icon is launching a Pinterest page and needs an intern to help promote it.
Students wanting more information should e-mail Steiner at [email protected].
