6 Ada football players earn 2025 All-BVC honors

The Ada High School football squad has three players on the 2025 All-Blanchard Valley Conference second team as voted by league coaches.
Senior wide receiver Gavin Oldfield was named to the BVC second team offense. He led Ada in receptions with 39 catches for 550 yards (14.1 ypc) and six touchdowns.
Senior linebacker Zack Zimmerman and senior defensive back Kayleb Hickman were also voted to the second team BVC defense.
Zimmerman led the BVC in total tackles with 115. He made 55 solo stops and had 60 assists. He added 18 receptions for 200 yards.
Hickman led the BVC in interceptions with six. He returned two picks for TDs and had 141 yards of interception yardage. He also made 47 tackles, including 30 solo stops.
Hickman added 22.5 yards per kickoff return with two TDs, as well as 19 receptions for 250 yards and five scores.
Ada junior kicker Andrew Allen, junior running back Kolton Dysert and junior quarterback Blake Zoladz earned honorable mention notice.
Zoladz completed 103 passes in 159 attempts (64.8 percent) for 14 TDs and 1,300 yards with five interceptions. He also rushed for 500 yards on 106 carries (5.7 avg.) with 10 TDs.
Dysert rushed 88 times for 400 yards (4.5 avg.) and five TDs.
Allen was successful on 32 of 33 extra point kicks and added a field goal to score 35 points. He has only missed one PAT kick in two seasons.
Zoladz led the Bulldogs with 60 points, followed by Hickman with 54 points and Oldfield (40).
Ada finished the season 5-5 overall and went 3-5 in the BVC to finish seventh in the 10-team league. The Bulldogs started the season 5-2.
Liberty-Benton won the BVC title with an 8-0 record, followed by Leipsic (7-1) and Pandora-Gilboa (6-2). Arlington and Van Buren tied for fourth at 5-3, followed by McComb (4-4) and Ada (3-5).
Arcadia and Elmwood tied for eighth at 1-7, while Riverdale came in last at 0-8.
League champion Liberty-Benton swept all four individual Player of the Year awards, as well as the Coach of the Year honor.
The following Bulldogs earned the Academic All-BVC Award for fall sports: Ada: Zack Zimmerman (FB), Kaden Clum (FB), Gavin Oldfield (FB), Slade Gossman (G), Sam Crawford (G), Alyssa Madison (VB), Anna Conley (VB), Ashley Hevlin (VB) and Alainee Buxton (VB).
