Karen G. Wright worked for Lima Memorial Health System
Karen G. Wright, age 74, of Harrod, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025 at her home.
She was born on April 15, 1951, in Harrod, Ohio, to the late Richard and Jean (Inskeep) Meeker. On December 21, 1969, Karen married Eugene Wright, and he preceded her in death on March 5, 2021.
Karen is survived by her sons Lucas (Jennelle) Wright of Harrod, Levi (Stephanie Yates) Wright of Harrod and Cody (Brittany) Wright of Lima; five grandchildren: Abby (Cody) McGinnis, Lacey Wright, Dallas Wright, Hailey Roach and Amelia Wright; three great grandchildren: Esabella, Macklin and Mikah; a brother, Dave (Karen) Meeker; two sisters: Trudi Young and Helen (Jerry) Bibler; and a sister-in-law, Jackie Meeker.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Meeker, and brother-in-law, Greg Young.
Karen retired from Lima Memorial Health System, where she worked in Medical Records. She was an Allen County Junior Horsemen 4-H adviser and volunteered for the March of Dimes.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada, with Pastor Mark Bayliff officiating. Burial will be in Fisher Cemetery, Harrod.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Allen County Horse Council.
