Bulldog swim teams compete at Ayersville

DEFIANCE__The Ada High School swim teams competed in a five-team meet at Defiance Ayersville on Thursday, January 8.
Host Ayersville won all four dual meets, while the Pilot girls were 3-1.
Defiance, Elida and Fostoria also competed with Ada and the Pilots.
Junior Tim Chrissobolis touched first in the 100 butterfly and ended up second in the 100 breaststroke to pace the Ada boys.
Senior Lydia Demascio touched first in the 200 freestyle and also won the 100 backstroke. Senior Alyssa Nau won the 100 breaststroke and took second in the 100 free.
Junior Jacob Szippl took first in the 100 backstroke and was second in the 200 free.
Alivia Montgomery finished second in both the 200 IM and 100 backstroke. Grady Morgan ended up third in the 50 free and sixth in the 100 free.
Kaden Clum came in sixth in the 200 IM and seventh in the 100 free. Emma Drost came in seventh in the 50 free and 10th in the 100 free. Thaddeus Smith finished fifth in the 100 backstroke and eighth in the 50 free.
The girls 200 free relay of Montgomery, Drost, Nau and Demascio touched second. The girls 200 medley relay of the same foursome also took second.
Pilot Levi Caryer won the 200 and 500 freestyle races while also swimming a leg of the winning 200 medley relay for the Ayersville boys.
Dylan Tressler won the 200 IM individually and was part of the winning 200 medley, 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relays for the Pilots.
Ayersville boys Mason Doda won the 100 butterfly and Louie Zimmerman took first in the 100 breaststroke, with the duo also teaming up for two winning relay teams.
