Ted Stephens was a 1960 Ohio Northern graduate
Clayton "Ted" Stephens, age 75, died on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at 8:40 p.m. at his residence in Linthicum Heights, MD.
He was born on September 15, 1937 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to Ed and Leatha (Howard) Stephens and they preceded him in death. On June 26, 1960 he married Brenda Collett and she survives in Linthicum Heights, MD.
Ted retired as an electrical engineering manager from Northrop Grumman Co. Annapolis, Maryland. He was a member of the Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church. Ted was a 1956 graduate of Hardin Northern High School and a 1960 graduate of Ohio Northern University College of Engineering.
He was a life member of the Ann Arrundell County Historical Society and a member of the NENTICO Lodge #12 Order of the Arrow. He was an adult leader with the membership in the Boy Scouts of America from 1980 to 2012.
Also surviving are three sons: Greg (Joyce) Stephens of Glen Burnie, MD, Brad Stephens and Todd H. Stephens both of Linthicum Heights, MD; three brothers: Frank Stephens of Lima, Lee Stephens of Milan, OH and Claude (Carolyn) Stephens of Lincoln, WA; three sisters: Sylvia Poe of Lima, OH, Martha Hatch of Dayton and Loretta Bahr of Salina, KS; two brothers-in-law: Chip Collette of Tallahassee, FL and K.C. Collette of Findlay.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Hawley Stephens; two sisters: Darcus Boggs and Goldia Schimmoeller.
A private graveside service was held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
