Tony Dyer, 1966-2026
Tony B. Dyer, age 59, of Ada, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026 at his residence.
He was born on July 23, 1966, in Kenton, Ohio, to Kenneth and Gloria “Judy” (Scott) Dyer, who survive in Rural Harrod. Also surviving are his two children: Ciera (Dustin) Badertscher and Cody (Janelle) Dyer; four grandchildren: Brightynn, Brixxen, Sutton and Cade; and two sisters: Tracy (Travis) Briedenbach and Tammie VanHoose; special friend, Peg Gordon; and his former wife, Brenda Briggs.
Tony was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Keith “Moose” VanHoose.
Tony retired from Ada Exempted Village Schools, where he was the Vo-Ag Teacher. He graduated from The Ohio State University and lived for livestock judging. He enjoyed going to the fair. Family meant everything to Tony and his favorite thing was being a grandpa.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada. A private family burial will be held at Preston Cemetery, Alger.
