Bulldog boys track 2nd at Elmwood tri

BLOOMDALE__The Ada track and field teams competed at a three-team Blanchard Valley Conference meet hosted by Elmwood on Tuesday, April 28.
The Bulldog boys finished second, 21 points behind Arlington, with 63 points. Elmwood tallied 28.
The host Royals won the girls meet with 71 points, followed by Arlington (55) and Ada (45).
BOYS RESULTS
Ada senior speedster Kayleb Hickman won the 400-meter run in 56.41.
He also took second in the 100-meter dash (11.74) and was also second in the 200 meters (23.7).
Bulldog sophomore Rhett Ulrey won the 800 meters in 2:20.1.
Freshman Nathan Mosler took first in the 1600 meters (5:27.58). Sophomore Nathan Jochims came in second (5:30.07). Jochims also took second in the 3200 (11:41.07).
Sophomore Elijah Craig came in second in the 300 hurdles (49.07).
Sophomore Brier Hannah finished second in the shot put (37-7), with soph teammate Maverick Shaw third (36-10).
Junior Carson Conley took second in the discus with a best toss of 126-3.
Senior Braden Smith took second in the pole vault (10-6).
GIRLS RESULTS
Senior Jordyn Smith won the long jump to help pace the Ada girls, with a best leap of 15-4.5. Sith also came in third in the 100-meter dash (13.47).
Sophomore Rose Baxter won the 400 meters (66.25).
Senior Anna Conley won the discus with a best throw of 100-9.
Conley took second in the high jump at 4-6, with freshman teammate Piper Wallace third. Conley also came in third in the shot put.
The Ada 4x100 relay of Kyla Coleman, Charliegh Entinghe, Baxter and Smith won in a time of 54.23.
Ambriel Hollon took second in the 100 hurdles (18.38). Sophomore Avary Acheson came in second in the 300 meters (14:40.85).
