Thunderstorms on the morning of Monday, Augst 10, have resulted in regional flooding and power outages in Kenton.

The Kenton Times has reported that power lines are down on Columbus St.

The City of Kenton has issued this statement:

TRAFFIC & SAFETY UPDATE
Citywide power is currently out, and multiple areas around town are experiencing high water. Additionally, power poles are down on East Columbus Street.

Please avoid the East Columbus Street area and stay off the roads if possible while crews respond. If you must drive, use extreme caution, treat dark signals as four-way stops, and stay far away from any downed lines.
